Leaving Arizona

May 20th

Approaching what we consider the last leg of our road trip journey together. We feel so blessed to have been able to spend some time with family and see the next generation of grand nieces and nephews too!

A storm was brewing upon our arrival; we watched its arrival across the lake and walked in wonder and awe at the sunset and cacti silhouettes.

The next morning Rob ventured out for a mountain bike ride and was thrilled with the terrain and trails.

After his ride Emmy and her family came up to Lake Pleasant from Litchfield Park to spend the day on the water. The night before we had a lovely dinner at a local resort and got to meet some of the clan.

The kiddos were smitten with Rob and his tour of the RIVIAN.

So thrilled to spend time with this momma and her tike, who went out on the tube – you go Brooklyn!

Whoops – it is windy out here! Fetch my hat kids!

Rob with the brood – they rescued his hat too!

Saturday morning time with Caroline was such a treat. Olivia made breakfast while Izzy and I had a great chat on the porch. Rob and Levi went fishing in the living room – just kidding – They spooled the line onto Levi’s new fishing rod!

Gonna miss this silly clan! Until next time – which I hope is in the very near future!!

Keeping the rubber side down, Julie and Rob
